Waitlist privacy note
This note covers only the waitlist for the Mosshatch preview. The full privacy notice is being drafted.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- If you give them: the name you hatched in the preview, and your yes, no or maybe to one question about a paid creature.
- The exact consent sentence you ticked (as a fingerprint), and when you joined, confirmed, left or were invited.
- A one-way hash of your network (the first three parts of an IPv4 address), used to limit sign-ups. Never your IP address.
Why
- To confirm the address is yours, tell you your place in line, and send your invite when it is your turn.
- To send occasional product news, because you ticked the box that asks for it.
- To learn, in counts only, which names and extensions people want and whether a paid creature interests them.
How long, and how to leave
- Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- Every email has a one-click link to leave the list. Leaving stops all waitlist email and cancels any invite not yet used.
- To have your entry deleted, write to support@mosshatch.com.
- Emails are sent by our email provider (Resend) from send.mosshatch.com. We never sell or share the list.
Joining the waitlist does not reserve or register a domain name.
